It's hard to believe that in 16 days I will be on a plane headed to China. I will REALLY by on my way! Sometimes I sit back and think about what is about to take place and I can't believe it! I can't believe all of the amazing things that God has done in my favor. All of the ways that He has been evident and real in my everday life. I am so in love with Him right now. I feel so close to Him. I feel like it's just me and Him and He is inviting me to embark on one of the greatest journeys every.
I'm excited for sure but i won't lie I'm a little scared too. I think I'm scared of the unknown scared of the things that "could" happen and scared of the things that will happen. Scared of failing, scared of disappointing Him, scared of being too weak. I know these thoughts are from the devil. He prowls about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour and this is the perfect opportunity for him to prey on me. I will NOT allow that though.
Even in my fear and uncertainty I CHOOSE to trust in God. I CHOOSE to look to Him for my strength. He is my shield and defender I will rest in the shadow of the almighty! God really spoke to me through the passage we studied at church today
Isaiah 41
9 I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11 "All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

God has called me, He will strengthen me and in His power I have the strength to FEAR NOT. In His power I have the strength to walk forward in confidence knowing that I am His and He's got this, He's got the Whole world in His hands, from Hudson, IL to Fuzhou, China HE HAS THIS!
